Dear daughter, Today my heart is so full of love and gratitude. My mind feels enlightened and my love feels strengthened. I smile at the little things and cherish each moment of happiness. You broke my barrier into motherhood. You were the light I never knew I needed. You were my first introduction into the true meaning of selfless, unconditional love. You unknowingly challenged me to be better, encouraged me to fight harder and at times annoyingly forced me to become a more patient. Your life has given me breath in so many ways. You have taught me the importance of self reflection and reminded me that how I see myself will influence how you see yourself. The thought of you influences every decision I make. The moment you were born as we made our first introduction face to face, I vowed to give you all of me. I vow to show you the strength of womanhood. I vow to expose you to the power you innately possess. I vow to endlessly encourage you to seek knowledge and empower your mind. I vow to remind you always that true beauty is measured from within. I vow to always remind you to love yourself first. I vow to share with you all of the lessons I have learned but also allow you to make your own mistakes. I vow to be the place you can come to feel uplifted and protected. I vow to be there for you always, through it all. Thank you for always loving me so unconditionally, even when I am not in the best of moods. Thank you for those unexpected kisses and hugs from behind. Thank you for exceeding every expectation I’ve ever had of having a child. Thank you for just being you. Thank you for gifting me as your mother. Happy Birthday Honeyy B 🍯🐝

One thing i could never take from myself is being a Great Mother, and I know I’m not perfect. Who is?😍 Being a mother is not just dressing kids up and posting them on social media for likes. It is stressful and tends to get a bit ugly. You may yell, get angry, have to discipline even when you don’t want to. 😭 It may also make you cry, it makes you sad when they get hurt.😢 You wake up all hours of the night because they are sick, making late night hospital runs because you’re scared and they’re hurting. All the while getting vomited on lol and having to come home cleaning it while your sick also. 🤦🏾♀️ Having to miss work to stay home to care for them. It’s A LOT but it’s amazing with amazing perks too! It has taught me how to receive and how to give LOVE 💕 it has took me from being just a girl to a woman. Being a mother taught me how to forgive, how to teach lessons, and taught me how to have patience. Watching your baby read when you feel like you just had her.😭 Loving bedtime🤣 but loving when they wake up and wanting you to be the first thing they see, then asking for breakfast.🙄😂 But the best test is when your child isn’t with you and you hear the stories of how kind, nurturing, and well mannered your child is. Yesterday when Ala’a got home the first thing that I heard was how she was the only child saying Yes Ma’am and No Ma’am. I try my hardest to teach her respect. I correct her when she’s wrong, and reward her when she’s right. It means so much more when they practice those lesson when your not present. Children are a product of their environment. Teach them, guide them, love them, and have GOOD vibes only. I Love my Honeyy in moments like these I know I’m doing right by her! The most beautiful thing that I ever laid eyes on ! 😍 Thanks for making me a Mom.
